Reading wise books can make you wise. Reading stupid books will rather quickly make you stupid.

Reading exciting books won’t make you an exciting person, though. It will make you dull. And watching sexy movies won’t make you sexy.

That’s the difference between spiritual qualities (wisdom) and sensual qualities (excitement).
